About My Style

Whether you choose the standard
ceremony, write your own vows or
renew your vows, it is an honor to
be chosen to officiate at a ceremony.
My belief is that you should include
personal words to each other even
if it is just a few words during the
"standard book" ceremony.  You
should have your own unique
ceremony.  Whether it is just the two
of you or a ceremony witnessed by
over a hundred family and friends;
this is your special day and your vows
and ring exchange should be your words to each other.  Or have a line of your own included.

I would very much like to meet with you, as I feel there has to be that unique, comfortable
feeling between the couple and the Justice of the Peace.  You are wise to start now and
interview prospective JP's.   It is such an intimate moment for the two of you~~something
you will remember all your life together. You certainty would not want a Justice of the
Peace to have the honor of performing the ceremony if you were not comfortable with each
other.

When we meet, once you share your ideas regarding your wedding plans / civil ceremony, I
will have an idea of what type of ceremony you would like.  I will share some sample
ceremonies, give you some ideas and input for you to think about and possibly include in
your ceremony.  There is no obligation on your part for that first meeting.  If you were to
choose me as your JP, we would have email correspondence and definitely additional
meetings until you were satisfied with your  ceremony.

I respect all beliefs and requests with confidentially and discretion.

It is my pleasure to work with couples for their special civil union.

Same day wedding requests available anytime - day or night. Standard wedding ceremonies
performed upon request.

The ceremony offering would be determined by the type of your event, location of your
ceremony and traveling time. I would also be attending your rehearsal and assisting with the
flow of the ceremony plans.

Being a volunteer with the Newtown Canine Advocates, I donate a part of your offering to the building fund for the
new dogs' shelter to be built on the old Fairfield Hills site in Newtown.   This building will replace the present outdated
pound now located behind the town dump.

I never ask for a fee from members of the military.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to
contact me.
